Jenn Schofield is Dr. Stein’s Physician Assistant. Jenn was raised in the East Bay and attended The University of California at Santa Barbara, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences. After college Jenn worked as a medical assistant and as a manufacturing associate at Baxter Biotech. Jenn obtained her Master of Physician Assistant Practice degree from the University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine. She is accredited by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and licensed by the Physician Assistant Committee of the Medical Board of California.
Jenn has been working with Dr. Stein since June 2006. As a Physician Assistant-Certified, she is licensed to diagnose and treat illnesses, administer injections, perform office-based surgical procedures, and first assist in surgery, under the supervision of Dr. Stein. Jenn co-authored a paper with Dr. Stein and our occupational therapists, Mike and Jerry, which has been accepted for publication in “Techniques in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery”.
