East Bay Hand Medical Center’s Hand Therapy Division is staffed by two Occupational Therapists who are certified hand therapists and ergonomic assessment specialists. Combined they have over 23 years of experience treating all aspects of postoperative and conservative therapy for injuries to the hand, arm and shoulder.
Our staff is dedicated to the treatment and resolution of post-surgical, trauma, cumulative trauma, inflammatory and other pathological conditions related to the upper extremity.
Spanish speaking staff is available. We accept most private, worker’s compensation and Medicare patients. Our staff is very quick and efficient at providing necessary documentation to acquire insurance authorization for clients in as little as 1 to 2 days, which is extremely important for good patient care in today’s worker’s compensation environment.
Although our hand therapy division is affiliated with Dr. Stein’s & Dr. Franko’s office, we accept and welcome outside referrals as well.
