Dr. Franko has performed a high volume of successful finger fracture surgeries. This includes metacarpal fractures, phalanx fracture, proximal interphalangeal joint treatment (PIP joint), finger dislocations, crushed digits, open fractures, and other injuries about the fingers. He uses a variety of techniques including open plate and screw fixation, intra-medullary screw fixation (both retrograde and antegrade), lag screw fixation, percutaneous pinning (wires), closed reduction, splinting, and casting. The specific treatment best for you and your fracture is based on each individual’s personal needs and fracture pattern.
